Justice State Minister, Berhanu Tsegaye, told WIC today that the Ministry has been undertaking various training programs pertaining to the justice sector with a view to delivering quality, efficient and timely justice.

Building capacity of all actors in the justice system is one of the plans that the ministry has been implementing to address problems facing the system, Berhanu indicated.

Accordingly, the ministry, in partnership with various institutions, has offered various short and long term training to judges and stakeholder drawn from various parts of the country during the past years.

A number of gains were achieved in the justice system following the provision of series of capacity building training to all actors in the system, Berhanu noted.

Improving the justice system has its own share in the efforts being made to realize the five-year Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP) besides enabling to deliver quality and effective justice to the community, he said.

Berhanu finally called on the community to join hands in the efforts to safeguard the Constitution.
